A Nation Remembers Veterans Tribute Weekend: A Once-in-a-Generation Event Coming to Williamstown, Kentucky
Posted on May 23 2026
What Is A Nation Remembers Veterans Tribute Weekend?
Something historic is coming to Williamstown, Kentucky this September — and if you love God, country, and the men and women who have served this nation, you won't want to miss it.
A Nation Remembers Veterans Tribute Weekend is a brand new, multi-day event dedicated entirely to honoring the service and sacrifice of America's heroes. Hosted by Patriots Landing and Trips Unlimited, the event runs September 16–20, 2026, and brings together veterans, military families, and patriotic Americans for four days of ceremonies, tributes, community, and celebration.
This is the inaugural ANR Weekend — and it arrives during a milestone year: the 250th birthday of the United States of America.
What Can You Expect at ANR Weekend?
ANR Weekend is designed for everyone — veterans, their families, and anyone who wants to stand up and say "thank you" to those who served. Across four days, attendees can expect tribute and recognition ceremonies, military exhibits and displays, family-friendly activities for all ages, community gatherings, special guests, and meaningful moments that connect generations.
All memorials throughout the weekend are open and free to the public. No ticket is needed to participate in the broader ANR Weekend experience — though the crown jewel of the event, ANR Day at the Ark Encounter, does require a ticket.
The Main Event: ANR Day at the Ark Encounter — Saturday, September 19th
If there is one day during ANR Weekend that you absolutely cannot miss, it's Saturday, September 19th — ANR Day at the Ark Encounter.
Set against the breathtaking backdrop of the world-renowned Ark Encounter in Williamstown, Kentucky, this full-day celebration of God and Country is shaping up to be unlike anything the region has ever seen. Here's what's planned:
Inspirational Speakers — A lineup of incredible and inspiring voices will take the stage throughout the day.
Military Vehicle Display — A full military vehicle display honoring the machines and missions of America's armed forces.
Veteran Luncheon — A dedicated gathering to honor and celebrate the veterans in attendance.
Afternoon Patriotic Ceremony — A formal tribute recognizing service and sacrifice.
Live Concert — Music to close out an unforgettable day.
Military Flyover — Yes, there will be a military flyover.
ANR Day at the Ark is a ticketed event. Tickets are available now through Patriots Landing at patriotslanding.org/collections/anr-tickets. Don't wait — an event like this will sell out.
Honor a Veteran with a Field of Honor Flag
One of the most meaningful things you can do in connection with ANR Weekend is honor a veteran you love with a Field of Honor Flag. These flags — available through Patriots Landing — are a powerful way to recognize the service of a family member, friend, or fallen hero and connect their story to this historic event.
You can order a Field of Honor Flag at patriotslanding.org/products/honor-flag.
Why Williamstown, Kentucky?
Williamstown sits at the intersection of faith and patriotism in a way that few places in America can match. It's home to the Ark Encounter, one of the most visited Christian attractions in the country, and it's home to Patriots Landing — a faith-based veteran non-profit where US military veterans handcraft wooden American flags, wood crosses, and burial flag cases by hand.
Hosting the inaugural A Nation Remembers Weekend here isn't a coincidence. It's a statement.
